Position: 3D FX Artist for PAW Patrol
Elevate the beloved PAW Patrol animated series at Guru Studio as a 3D FX Artist. Bring creative FX like rain, fire, and water interactions to life using Houdini and in-house setups.

Guru Studio seeks an experienced 3D FX Artist for its innovative production team. With over 20 years in animated storytelling, we value creativity and collaboration. You’ll work closely with the asset team to deliver engaging visual effects while meeting project deadlines and effectively communicating challenges to the FX Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create FX like dust, rain, and fire using Houdini

• Collaborate with the asset team for creative solutions

• Complete tasks on schedule and meet deadlines

• Report risks and challenges to the FX Lead

• Adjust simulation physics for stylized animation

Requirements:

• 4+ years in animated TV or film

• Proficiency in Houdini is essential

• Skills in Redshift rendering and Nuke compositing preferred

• Familiarity with USD, Solaris, and Redshift Shaders is an asset

• Strong creative portfolio/reel required
