This part-time, on-site role is pivotal for bringing accurate information to viewers during breaking news. You’ll pitch, write, and collaborate with team members while managing multiple fast-paced projects. A minimum of five years in a live news environment is required, along with three years specifically in broadcast writing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pitch and create engaging content for live broadcasts
• Generate breaking-news copy and visuals rapidly
• Research stories to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Collaborate across platforms on content and material
• Direct the editing and mixing of audiovisual elements
Requirements:
• Five years experience in daily live news
• Three years in broadcast writing
• Strong editing and production skills
• University degree or equivalent required
• Familiarity with iNews, DTV, and Vizrt systems
