Position: Expert Producer/Editor Wanted
Global News MMC/OTT seeks a skilled Producer/Editor for a full-time role in Toronto, ON. This position centers on weaving compelling narratives for various market news broadcasts.

In this dynamic role, you will support the Executive Producer and participate in editorial discussions crucial for the news cycle. A minimum of five years in television broadcasting and post-secondary education in journalism or a related field are required. Your work will include both producing and editing segments, as well as participating in the live production of key events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and write news broadcasts for varied markets

• Take live events from the control room as needed

• Write and edit news segments for broadcast

• Engage in editorial meetings with the production team

• Coordinate with graphics teams for visual storytelling

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of television broadcasting experience

• Degree in journalism, broadcasting, or related field

• Proven skills in TV production and writing

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of social media tools and platforms
