This full-time role is designed for a seasoned journalist with at least eight years of accredited experience. You will delve into the political and social issues of giving while leading editorial support as the newsroom's second-in-command. Your contributions will shape narratives that influence the philanthropic landscape in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover under-reported philanthropy issues

• Conduct in-depth interviews with public figures

• Deliver journalism to inform diverse social sectors

• Manage editorial tasks during the Managing Editor's absence

• Uphold the newsroom’s values of curious and courageous reporting

Requirements:

• Degree in journalism or political science

• 8+ years of experience in media

• Interest in social justice and impact

• Ability to manage multiple editorial projects

• Knowledge of CP style guidelines
