Overview
The Senior Multimedia Learning Designer leads the creation of engaging animated learning content for internal and external audiences. The role blends instructional design principles with motion graphics, visual storytelling, and video production to deliver professional e‑learning experiences, awareness campaigns, and educational videos.
Responsibilities- Partner with subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and translate complex concepts into clear visual stories.
- Develop video‑based learning assets, microlearning modules, and awareness campaigns from concept through final delivery, including script interpretation, storyboarding, graphic design, animation, voiceover coordination, and publishing.
- Produce 2–5 minute animated videos, animating characters, icons, diagrams, and interface elements; create text animations, visual callouts, and motion sequences.
- Design custom illustrations, branded assets, visual systems, reusable templates, and animation libraries.
- Convert videos into interactive learning experiences; support development in LMS platforms and assist with accessibility and compliance requirements.
- 5–8 years of experience in motion graphics, multimedia design, or learning design.
- Portfolio demonstrating educational or corporate animation projects.
- Experience working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
- Strong visual design skills (illustration, layout, typography, brand application).
- Storyboarding, script interpretation, information and educational storytelling.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Captivate.
- Video and audio editing, asset creation, and motion‑graphics workflows.
- Preferred: character rigging, basic 2‑D animation, WCAG accessibility, LMS experience, instructional‑design methodologies, Figma.
- Proficiency with AI‑powered content‑creation tools.
- Designing educational materials that translate complex information into engaging formats.
- Developing targeted communication strategies across multiple channels.
