Position: Part-Time Music Director for Downsview United Church
Join Downsview United Church as a part-time Music Director, enhancing worship through music leadership and choral direction. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Minister and active congregational participation.

Downsview United Church is searching for a passionate musician dedicated to leading worship and uplifting the faith community in Toronto. You will direct the choir during Sunday services and special occasions, choose music in consultation with the Minister, and engage the congregation through hymn singing. Weekly choir practices and collaboration with diversity and inclusiveness are essential to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play keyboard and direct the choir on Sunday mornings

• Select choir music with the Minister's guidance

• Lead congregation singing during worship services

• Conduct weekly choir rehearsals effectively

• Provide music for weddings and funerals as needed

Requirements:

• Excellent keyboard skills and choral leadership expertise
