Position: Producer-Host for News at CBC/Radio
Join CBC/Radio-Canada as a Producer-Host tasked with the responsibility of leading Téléjournal Ontario in French. Focus on delivering impactful news content in a dynamic environment.

This temporary long-term role calls for a proactive and experienced individual with a minimum of five years in journalism. You will manage narration and production tasks while interacting closely with your team to curate interviews and news topics. The position emphasizes efficiency, creativity, and a strong grasp of local, national, and international issues relevant to the audience. Excellent written and verbal skills in French are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support team contributions for the show

• Prepare compelling scripts for news presentations

• Identify relevant news topics and guests for interviews

• Edit and enhance multimedia elements for broadcasts

• Lead and mentor production staff and interns

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent experience required

• Minimum five years of professional journalism experience

• Strong team leadership and mentorship capabilities

• Familiarity with digital media production

• Fluency in French, English knowledge is an asset
