Drive impactful audio storytelling as the Senior Producer for Ontario Service at CBC/Radio-Canada. This permanent, on-site position in Toronto focuses on producing content that connects communities through Fresh Air and Ontario Morning.

This role is essential for the new Ontario Service division and requires strong editorial judgment and a keen understanding of local issues. You will lead distribution efforts, ensuring stories reflect the diverse perspectives of Ontario residents. Your leadership will help shape the programs that inform and entertain across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead editorial process for Fresh Air and Ontario Morning

• Facilitate distribution of content among newsrooms

• Review scripts to resonate with provincial audiences

• Produce relevant audio segments for sharing

• Collaborate on breaking news coordination

Requirements:

• University degree or relevant professional experience

• At least seven years of journalism, three in broadcasting

• Expertise in audio editing and production

• Proven leadership and coaching capabilities

• Understanding of Ontario's diverse societal landscape
