Join The Globe and Mail as an Audio Editor, Programming, in this hybrid role based in Toronto. Lead the curation and presentation of compelling audio journalism that engages listeners.
In this crucial position, you'll curate and assemble audio packages while maintaining a high-quality listening experience. Collaborating closely with producers and editors, you'll refine audio strategies to increase audience engagement and connect listeners with Globe's diverse audio content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curate and program compelling audio packages for the audio hub
• Maintain high-quality audio listening experiences
• Surface relevant audio content based on audiences’ interests
• Collaborate with producers to ensure effective promotions
• Monitor workflows for timely publishing of audio content
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of experience in digital media
• Strong news judgment and understanding of audience behavior
• Excellent skills in headline writing and crafting display copy
• Familiarity with digital storytelling across platforms
• Comfortable in CMS environments and audio editing software
Drive engagement through audio journalism by leading The Globe's innovative audio hub.
