VFX Supervisor Studio

Position: VFX Supervisor for Playfight Studio
Become a key player at Playfight, a Toronto-based boutique VFX studio, as a VFX Supervisor for a short-term contract. Lead projects while actively engaging with artists and clients.

In this combined supervisory and artistic role, you will guide VFX work on film and television projects. Your primary tasks include planning workflows, supporting team members, and reviewing shots to ensure high-quality outcomes. This position offers a chance to manage schedules and be hands-on with shots while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise VFX workflows across diverse projects

• Review shots and provide actionable feedback

• Support artists both technically and creatively

• Help establish practical shot approaches and timelines

• Collaborate with producers and clients for project success

Requirements:

• Senior artist or experienced VFX supervisor

• Background in film and/or television

• Strong compositing skills in After Effects and Nuke

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Adaptable to budget and scheduling realities
