Elevate your animation skills as a Senior Animation Artist with Rodeo FX in Montreal. The position demands a mastery of hyper-realistic animation while collaborating closely with creative leads.

This full-time, temporary contract role invites experienced artists with at least six years in a VFX studio. You’ll produce polished animations for diverse projects, including working with top-tier brands like Netflix and Disney. Key skills include proficiency in Maya, with an eye for body mechanics and facial animation to craft compelling performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver polished animation matching creative and production specifications

• Adapt to various performance styles in animation

• Interpret creative direction for expressive performances

• Ensure animation meets technical requirements for downstream departments

• Maintain clear communication with leads and production teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years experience in VFX environment

• Strong proficiency in Maya and related tools

• High attention to detail and effective deadline management

• Knowledge of rigging and animation methodologies

• Must be based in Quebec with work authorization
