The music and entertainment division of Futura Investment and Development Inc. focuses on content creation, events, music production and marketing, artist development, publishing, and digital distribution. We support emerging and established artists with creative resources, marketing, industry guidance, and high‑quality content to help them grow their careers and reach new audiences.
We are looking to bring on a Cinematography, Videography & Video Editing Intern who is ready to gain hands‑on experience in filming, editing, and creating visual content for artists, events, and music‑related projects.
This position is unpaid to start, but we are open to signing Co‑Op or Internship hours for your college/university. Paid project‑based or full‑time opportunities may be available for selected candidates whose work is a strong fit at a later date.

Cinematography & Video Editing Intern will:- Capture, edit, and produce visually engaging video content.
- Assist in filming live events, workshops, performances, and behind‑the‑scenes footage.
- Edit videos with precision, including trimming, colour correction, sound enhancement, and special effects.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project goals.
- Create templates for video and social media content.
- Organize and maintain a digital archive of media assets.
- Take feedback positively and apply feedback to ensure content is on‑brand and visually appealing.
- Research trends and stay up‑to‑date on the latest video editing techniques.
- Create and edit promotional materials (social media posts, short clips, teasers, etc.).
- Ability to assist in motion graphics and animation design is a plus.
- Prepare rough drafts, storyboards, and video concepts.
- Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality video projects.
- A passion for videography and cinematography principles
- A passion for storytelling and video editing
- Experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or other video editing software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relative knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and sound recording.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to fast‑moving projects.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new video techniques.
