Position: Lead FX Artist at Rodeo FX
Rodeo FX seeks a Senior FX Artist to design complex visual effects and enrich storytelling through stunning simulations. Utilize your Houdini skills to create breathtaking effects.

As a Senior FX Artist, you will operate at the heart of Rodeo FX’s creative process, collaborating with teams to deliver photorealistic and dynamic shots.

Your role will encompass producing advanced simulations of smoke, fire, and other visual effects while applying rigorous quality control and innovative problem-solving skills. You will engage in knowledge-sharing while staying updated on industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex simulations that enhance visual narratives

• Effectively use Houdini’s extensive toolset for effects

• Oversee quality control before project submissions

• Collaborate actively with all departments involved

• Improve FX methods through regular feedback and learning

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years in VFX studio environments

• Strong command of Houdini, with foundational rendering knowledge

• Understanding of USD and collaborative tools

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to develop tools/scripts is advantageous
