Arts and Video Producer

Position: Arts and Life Video Producer Role
Become a key player at CBC/Radio-Canada as a Producer for the Arts and Life Video Team. This full-time, long-term contract role focuses on managing the CBC Arts You Tube channel and hands-on content production.

As a Producer within the Arts and Life Video Team, you will lead the execution of our You Tube strategy while working closely with the editorial team.

Your role encompasses channel management, original content production, and evaluating video performance through analytics. You must have a deep understanding of You Tube and experience producing captivating long-form videos as well as Shorts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the CBC Arts You Tube channel

• Produce original content from concept to publication

• Create engaging titles and thumbnails collaboratively

• Monitor analytics to inform production strategies

• Coordinate publishing schedules and video metadata

Requirements:

• 5+ years managing a You Tube channel

• Proven track record of producing You Tube videos

• Strong communication skills and editorial judgment

• Ability to work under pressure

• Knowledge of arts and culture appreciated
