Position: Arts & Life Video Producer at CBC
Take your You Tube expertise to new heights as a Producer for CBC's Arts & Life Video team. Focused on channel management and content production, you'll drive our You Tube strategy forward.

As a long-term contract producer, you will execute CBC Arts' video strategy while collaborating closely with our editorial team. This role combines hands-on content creation and the strategic oversight of the CBC Arts You Tube channel. Ideal candidates will have a passion for You Tube content, an excellent feel for video performance, and experience producing long-form videos and Shorts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the CBC Arts You Tube channel

• Package content with compelling titles and thumbnails

• Analyze video performance and implement A/B tests

• Produce original in-house video content from conception

• Collaborate with teams to plan editorial slates

Requirements:

• 5+ years of You Tube channel management experience

• Proven portfolio of successful You Tube video productions

• Strong editorial judgement on content recycling

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines
