Join Charb Arts Studios in Toronto as we seek an Enthusiastic Tap Dance Teacher to support our tap program for the 2026/27 season. Engage young dancers starting from age 3 in the art of tap.
In this role, you will teach tap classes and contribute to the program's growth and development. Your responsibilities will include creating a positive class environment and being involved in recital choreography. This position is perfect for someone keen on building a strong foundation in tap dance education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct tap classes for preschool-aged dancers
• Assist in expanding the tap dance program
• Cultivate a positive, musical atmosphere in classes
• Participate in choreography for studio recitals
• Collaborate with fellow instructors in the studio
Requirements:
• Passionate about teaching tap dance and engaging youth
• Experience working with young children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Availability primarily on Wednesdays
• Commitment to a collaborative teaching philosophy
