Part-Time Ballet Teacher Women's Technique

This contract position reports to the Head of Comprehensive Dance Programs, delivering high-quality ballet instruction in NBS' Young Dancers Program. You will craft an inclusive learning environment that nurtures technical skills and artistic expression across various abilities. Collaborate with faculty and leadership to support student development, performances, and auditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional ballet and pointe instruction using NBS curriculum

• Adapt teaching methods to individual student needs for optimal growth

• Prepare and rehearse students for performances and events

• Assist with auditions, panel reviews, and teaching audition classes

• Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of ballet teaching experience

• Strong expertise in classical ballet, especially Women's Technique

• Excellent classroom management and adaptability skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
