Position: CBC Podcasts Producer - Long-Term Contract

As a contract Producer, beginning on September 14th, 2026, you'll report to the Senior Producer, collaborating on the narrative structure and editorial direction of podcast episodes.

Your role will encompass managing production schedules, guiding team coordination, and maintaining high journalistic standards while producing engaging audio projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling narratives and scripts for shows

• Ensure projects align with CBC’s journalistic standards

• Guide production schedules and manage budgets

• Coach hosts and provide editorial feedback

• Collaborate on titles and promotional materials for audience growth

Requirements:

• University degree and seven years of media experience

• Expert audio production and writing skills

• Proven creativity and strong attention to detail

• Familiarity with CBC standards and practices

• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure
