Your role will focus on providing key support in studio activities.
This casual Work Study position spans from September 2026 to April 2027, situated within the Dept. of Cinema & Media Arts. You will support students and faculty in understanding and applying studio instructions, making it a great opportunity for engaged students looking to deepen their knowledge in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to the Media Arts studio community
• Communicate and clarify studio procedures to others
• Help others in developing creative skills and knowledge
• Maintain an organized and detailed studio environment
• Assist in lifting and moving studio equipment
Requirements:
• Must be an enrolled student at York University
• Ability to explain and demonstrate relevant instructions
• Previous work experience helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail vital for studio tasks
• Capacity to lift and move materials of varying weights
Contribute to the dynamic setting of Media Arts at York University while gaining valuable experience.
