Cella by Randstad Digital is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading financial enterprise for a dynamic Content Designer / UX Writer. In this role, you will help shape intuitive, seamless digital experiences for key commercial and public-facing platforms. Partnering closely with multi-disciplinary experience design teams, you will transform complex, technical concepts into clear, engaging, customer-centric microcopy and digital content.

This is a 1-year contract opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario operating on a hybrid model (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, design, and refine future-state and near-term cross-channel digital content solutions for mobile apps and web platforms.
  • Craft, edit, and proofread clear, accessible user interface microcopy, functional text, and product communications.
  • Apply user-centered design principles to ensure digital content translates complex concepts into intuitive, plain-language user flows.
  • Participate across the complete product development lifecycle—from product ideation, user research, and scoping to post-launch evaluation and iteration.
  • Partner collaboratively with Experience Design Leads, Product Owners, UX Researchers, and Tech Leads to align content with overarching product strategy.
  • Utilize design thinking methodologies and facilitate creative ideation sessions to solve intricate user journey challenges.
  • Adapt flexibly to evolving project priorities and deliver design updates quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Writing Mastery:
    Demonstrated talent in digital copywriting, editing, content strategy, or UX writing with a focus on simplicity and clarity.
  • Industry

    Experience:

    A solid foundation in digital product content design, user-centered design principles, or mobile/web platform copywriting.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing stakeholder feedback and navigating multi-disciplinary team environments.
  • Design Systems & Tools:
    Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools (such as Figma) and design system integration is considered a strong asset.
  • Sector Background:
    Prior experience designing content within financial services, enterprise systems, or large-scale public websites is preferred.
  • Education:

    An undergraduate degree in a design-related discipline (User-Centered Design, HCI, Visual Design, Communications, Human Factors, Psychology) or equivalent practical work experience.
