We are seeking a passionate and energetic Traditional Bachata Instructor (Freelance) to inspire dance enthusiasts and guide them through the vibrant world of Bachata. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to share your expertise, foster a love for Latin dance, and create engaging learning experiences for students of all levels. As a freelance instructor, you will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and cultural authenticity to every class, helping students develop their skills while enjoying the lively spirit of Bachata music and dance.

• Lead engaging and energetic traditional Bachata dance classes for diverse student groups, ensuring a positive learning environment
• Develop structured lesson plans that cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers
• Demonstrate proper technique, footwork, partner work, and musicality in an approachable manner
• Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to help students improve their dance skills
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages cultural appreciation and confidence among participants
• Manage class schedules efficiently, maintaining punctuality and clear communication with students about class details
• Promote upcoming classes, workshops, or events through social media or community outreach to attract new students

• Proven experience with minimum 5+ years of teaching traditional Bachata dance with a strong understanding of its cultural roots and techniques
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse audiences
• Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students of all levels
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create an inclusive and supportive environment
• Effective time management skills to balance multiple classes or sessions as a freelancer
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire confidence and foster community among students
• Prior experience in teaching or dance instruction is preferred but not mandatory; passion for sharing Latin dance culture is essential
• Can create choreography and direct performances or competition teams with stage performance experience (a plus).

• Professionalism in time management, reliability, and collaboration with venue staff, performers, and other instructors.
• Comfort engaging with diverse communities and supporting students of various backgrounds and learning styles.
• Availability for evenings and weekends, as well as special events, workshops, or performances hosted by Lula Lounge.
• Prior experience performing or leading dance at social events or shows is an asset.
• Knowledge of other Latin dance styles (e.g., salsa, merengue) and bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are considered beneficial.
