Senior Producer for CBC Life Platform

Lead innovative content creation as the Senior Producer for CBC Life, CBC/Radio-Canada's national lifestyle platform. This hybrid role fosters creativity and storytelling across multiple formats.

In this one-year contract, you will oversee a dynamic team focused on food, style, wellness, and culture. As part of the Digital, Unscripted Content division, you will manage editorial responsibilities, guide team development, and track performance to meet objectives. Your experience in lifestyle journalism and multimedia storytelling will be crucial in driving engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate content production across all lifestyle pillars

• Lead and mentor producers and freelancers effectively

• Create and maintain editorial schedules to align with strategic goals

• Monitor digital traffic analytics to boost engagement

• Ensure compliance with CBC’s Journalistic Standards and Practices

Requirements:

• Minimum seven years of relevant experience, three in broadcasting

• Proven leader in lifestyle editorial production

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Expertise in social media engagement strategies

• Excellent writing and copy editing capabilities
