Key Tasks
  • Acts as a primary support to the Unit Production Manager, ensuring seamless collaboration on all production operations.
  • Ability to generate and distribute production schedules, call sheets, production paperwork and travel itineraries.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in coordination of all travel and accommodation, including work permits, government visas, medical examinations and immunizations to conform to foreign travel requirements.
  • Knowledge of booking in-house, freelance, regional, and international production crews and facilities.
  • Knowledge and utilization of in-house resources (such as libraries, technical stores, maintenance, security, BGIS, elevators).
  • Knowledge of studio production set-ups and work flows.
  • Experience in supervising production assistants/ runners.
  • Experience completing and filing risk assessments forms.
  • Coordinate the delivery of production materials, clothing, props, and equipment.
  • Coordinate between interdepartmental teams and other departments to ensure that all production needs are met efficiently.
  • Knowledge on company policies and the ability to support the rest of the production crew in following the requirements of CBC.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a University or Community College, with a diploma in Radio and Television and or Film preferred.
  • Two years' experience working on a reality or sports based program in the same role.
  • Must have the ability to handle a variety of functions quickly and efficiently.
  • Innovative, flexible, with demonstrated initiative.
  • Must be a self starter.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated team player with solid people skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Open to new ideas and approaches.
  • Experience with mainstream computer software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overtime and weekends as required.
