Position: Lead Copywriter for Canadian Tire Brands
Lead the tone of voice for Canadian Tire as a Senior Copywriter & Editor. Blend hands-on writing with editorial governance to enhance brand campaigns and ecommerce experiences.

Reporting to the Manager, Creative Copy & Content, you will act as a brand steward ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality across all touchpoints. With at least 7 years in retail copywriting, utilize AI tools for improved workflow efficiency. This creative role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and providing constructive editorial feedback to elevate content quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to Canadian Tire's Tone of Voice

• Manage daily copy governance for multiple assets

• Write and refine ecommerce copy to boost conversions

• Partner with teams to enhance writing and stories

• Present recommendations on editorial strategies confidently

Requirements:

• 7+ years of editorial experience in copywriting

• Proven ability to mentor junior writers

• Strong understanding of digital and omni-channel copy

• Exceptional command of grammar and narrative flow

• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
