Creative Evening Photographer at AGO

Become a part-time Creative Photographer for events at the Art Gallery of Ontario. This role emphasizes evening and weekend availability, focusing on documenting a range of gallery activities.

At the AGO in Toronto, you will play a vital role as an Event Photographer, capturing everything from exhibition openings to receptions. Your expertise will help ensure that each event is visually represented through stunning photography that aligns with the gallery's standards. You'll engage directly with team members and artists, applying creative techniques both in capturing shots and in post-production processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture events for documentation and promotion

• Conduct lighting setups and edit images

• Test and maintain photo equipment regularly

• Work closely with organizers for best outcomes

• Archive edited images appropriately

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of event photography background

• Proficient in Photoshop and other editing software

• Good time management skills

• Strong verbal and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
