As a key member of the Wounds Canada team, the Editorial Assistant/Assistant Editor will contribute significantly to major publications like Wound Care Canada and Limb Preservation Journal. You will manage journal pipelines, solicit articles, and interact with authors while ensuring high-quality submissions are published on time. This position also allows for growth in the editorial space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage journal pipelines for timely content publication
• Identify and solicit articles in coordination with the Editor
• Communicate with authors on submission revisions
• Oversee peer-review management and track timelines
• Edit articles and ensure adherence to style guides
Requirements:
• Degree in biological or related science
• 2 years of editorial experience required
• Excellent written English skills
• French language skills are an asset
• Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
