Limelight is a fast-growing FP&A platform transforming how finance teams plan, forecast, and report. We empower our customers with dynamic, connected, and scalable financial models. As an FP&A Consultant, you’ll bridge the gap between our platform and our customers’ financial processes.
As a Senior FP&A Consultant , you’ll act as a trusted advisor to finance teams across industries. You’ll lead implementations of Limelight’s financial planning platform while drawing from your background in finance, accounting, and technology to support and guide customers. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to understand their business models and design scalable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
This is a cross-functional role that requires strong communication, technical know-how, and a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new Limelight customers, from requirements gathering to go-live and support
Design, configure, and validate financial models, templates, and reports within the Limelight platform
Act as the main point of contact for client finance teams throughout onboarding and implementation
Translate financial concepts into scalable technology solutions—budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, dashboards, allocations, etc
Provide guidance and best practices on modeling approaches and reporting outputs
Partner with internal product, and success teams to ensure client goals are met
Train client users and ensure successful adoption
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks while keeping clients informed and confident
Build long-term relationships and help expand the usage of Limelight post-implementation
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial consulting, accounting systems, financial analysis, or financial software implementation
Strong understanding of financial planning cycles—budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, reporting
Experience with tools like Excel, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive or other FP&A tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, SaaS environment
CPA, CFA, or PMP is a value add
