Position: Full-Time Mortgage Underwriter Position
Become a vital part of First National's team as a Full-Time Associate Mortgage Underwriter in Toronto. This role is essential for the underwriting process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

In this position under the Third Party Residential Underwriting division, you will interact with mortgage brokers and external partners to ensure documentation meets all criteria. Attention to detail and service excellence are crucial as you escalate issues and manage inquiries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build loyalty with mortgage brokers

• Review and verify mortgage documentation

• Escalate documentation inaccuracies

• Take clear notes in the underwriting system

• Ensure compliance with AML requirements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or relevant experience

• Experience in the Financial Services sector preferred

• Knowledge of mortgage processes is advantageous

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
