Position: Residential Mortgage Underwriter - Hybrid Work

In this role, you will use your expertise to review mortgage applications, ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of documentation. Your strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-terrorist financing (ATF) practices will be crucial. You will also follow up on outstanding conditions and ensure files align with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review applications for authenticity and completeness daily

• Manage deal flow to meet deadlines and service level agreements

• Provide exceptional customer service to mortgage brokers

• Track documentation and maintain pipeline data integrity

• Assist with team reporting and mentorship for junior staff

Requirements:

• 2+ years of mortgage experience in prime/alternative markets

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Bilingual in English and French

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to customer service
