Registered Products Administrator (Contract)

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market, providing trade execution, clearing, custody and back‑office support services to Canadian‑based brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.‑based firms.
About the RoleThe Registered Products Administrator will learn about clearing, custodial and trade execution services and support the Registered Products team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process all RESP withdrawals and transfer requests
- Coordinate timing and generation of ESDC monthly in/out grant files
- Reconcile monthly RESP grant payments from ESDC with the system
- Support settlement activities with Trustee, RSP and TFSA contributions/deregistrations, RESP administration, RRIF/LIF payment setup/recurring events, RRSP to RRIF rollovers, and pension plan unlocking/administration
Education:
Post‑secondary education completed or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience:
1–2years in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Non‑Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint, etc.) and Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, etc.)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Assets:
- Knowledge of or experience in the brokerage industry
- Completion of, or enrollment in, a financial services industry program (e.g., CSC)
- Ability to read and write bilingually in French and English
- Effective teamwork and the ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong time‑management skills
- Passion for delivering quality customer service and exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model of $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
