Position: Tax Director for Purpose Unlimited
Lead tax strategy as the first dedicated Tax Director at Purpose Unlimited in Canada. Shape the tax function for a multi-entity financial services group with innovative initiatives.

Purpose Unlimited seeks a strategic leader to build its tax function, focusing on governance within asset management and lending. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation with expertise in Canadian corporate tax and over seven years in financial services. This role includes significant responsibility for shaping tax strategy, ensuring compliance, and guiding product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and govern tax strategy across the Purpose group

• Oversee corporate tax planning and compliance matters

• Advise Asset Management Fund teams on tax forecasting

• Lead tax structuring for M&A and new growth initiatives

• Support client-level tax compliance in Wealth segments

Requirements:

• CPA designation specializing in Canadian corporate tax

• 7+ years in Canadian tax within financial services

• M&A tax structuring experience is an asset

• Proven track record in strategic tax roles

• Ability to manage complex multi-entity tax environments
