Overview

The branch in Toronto is seeking a resourceful, efficient and collaborative Associate to join the wealth management team. By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to clients and the Advisor team, you will help deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients, maintain client accounts, ensure documentation is accurate and compliant, and support portfolio and wealth management planning opportunities.
Whatwill you do?
- Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. Manage timelines and key dates for accounts to ensure clients feel supported by our team.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and understanding manner (account transactions, requests, documentation, reporting, etc.).
- Provide proactive client service and collaborate with various departments to deliver smooth and timely solutions.
- Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other partners.
- Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
- Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients/prospects.
- Learn internal controls and regulatory requirements to ensure client files and documentation are accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
- Update the team’s communication channels (websites, Linked In, newsletters, brochures).
- Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
- Support the Wealth Management process and maintain an audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.
Must-have
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)
- Strong skills with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office
- High-quality time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide world-class client service with a professional, warm and friendly demeanor
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
- Experience in the securities industry
