As a Mortgage Funder within the Third-party Residential Underwriting Division, you will be instrumental in processing residential mortgages for clients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with solicitors, verifying information, and ensuring files are accurately prepared for closing. This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure, providing essential support for the Canadian mortgage broker channel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check solicitor entitlement and confirm representation

• Prepare instructional packages and documentation for solicitors

• Verify funding requests and ensure documentation compliance

• Organize mortgage files and track progress through closing

• Coordinate with accounting for timely fund releases

Requirements:

• Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Previous mortgage industry experience is an asset

• Competency in MS Office and quick learning of new systems

• Completion of Mortgage Agent Course or FSRA License is advantageous

• Strong communication skills and multitasking ability
