In this role, you'll oversee financial systems, ensure accuracy and integrity, and manage a team while acting as the subject matter expert for the capital projects portal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial accounting for capital projects

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

• Approve capital-related accounting transactions

• Test and implement system changes with ITS

• Support users in resolving issues and manage AP team

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in capital financial and construction accounting

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and audit requirements

• Proven experience as a system owner for financial management

• Hands-on experience with AP transactions

• Compliance knowledge with Ontario’s Construction Act
