AVP, Finance Equality Fund

Position: AVP, Finance for Equality Fund
Take the lead in financial strategy as the Associate Vice-President of Finance at the Equality Fund. Manage critical financial processes and support transformative change.

Reporting directly to the CFO, your role will focus on overseeing financial reporting and budgeting while ensuring compliance with regulations. The AVP will articulate the CFO's vision and ensure alignment of financial operations with the organization's mission, mentoring staff and promoting a culture of inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations, from accounting to payroll

• Prepare accurate financial statements monthly and annually

• Collaborate on budget development and forecasting

• Ensure compliance through robust internal controls

• Lead and develop the finance team’s skills

Requirements:

• CPA certification and 6+ years in a management position

• Experience in investment management and accounting

• Solid analytical and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with non-profit environments is preferred

• Multilingual skills, particularly in French or Spanish, are advantageous
