Elevate investment management practices as a Portfolio Manager with Wellington-Altus in Winnipeg or Toronto. Lead Unified Managed Account programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
In this strategic role, report directly to the VP of Investment Platform Support at Wellington-Altus. Your focus will be on governance, design, and refinement of managed investment programs, especially UMA and SMA offerings. Key skills include portfolio management expertise and proficiency in investment management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and governance for UMA and SMA programs
• Manage and evolve UMA program for competitive scalability
• Develop investment practice management policies and procedures
• Provide senior-level expertise on trading platforms
• Oversee advisor training and platform utilization
Requirements:
• Degree in business, finance, or related field
• 10+ years in financial services with portfolio management experience
• Valid CFA or CIM designation required
• Familiarity with advisor platforms and financial technology
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
