As a Senior Accountant at MNP, you will manage individual income tax returns for U.S. and Canadian citizens, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. This role requires a deep understanding of U.S. and Canadian tax policies, with responsibilities involving client interactions, documentation, and tax strategy implementation. You will guide and mentor junior team members while collaborating on tax planning, as well as participating in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare U.S. and combined income tax returns for individuals

• Assist in cross-border tax and estate planning

• Deliver expertise on individual tax and social security issues

• Advise on tax policy changes and corrections

• Lead engagement teams and foster client relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration

• CPA designation or in progress

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience

• Knowledge of tax forms 1040, 8621, 5471, 3520

• Familiarity with tax software and regulations
