Position: Manager, Program Planning & Execution - Global HR (Spanish)

In this role you will:
Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Champion the project’s vision by ensuring program objectives are clearly understood by the project team and applied throughout execution.
Oversee and support workstream leads and project managers across the integrated project plan to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
Own integrated project planning, status reporting, issue and risk management, including identification, documentation, mitigation, and escalation within governance protocols.
Chair project status meetings and support workstream meetings as required.
Apply the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day‑to‑day decisions and activities.
Promote effective and efficient operations aligned with Scotiabank’s values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring adherence to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk requirements.
Contribute to a high‑performing, inclusive work environment.
Manage a portfolio of highly complex operational programs end‑to‑end, including data analysis, root‑cause identification, requirements gathering, solution development, implementation, and success measurement using metrics.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
Project Management certification (PMP preferred) with 2+ years of business experience
Expert knowledge of project management disciplines and tools
2+ years managing complex projects, preferably in an IT environment
Strong organizational, relationship management, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Proactive self‑starter with the ability to adapt and learn new ways of working
Ability to move forward through complexity and manage competing priorities
Strong knowledge of the banking or financial services industry preferred
* Fluency in Spanish (verbal and written) is required for this role
