Position: CIBC Commercial Credit Risk Manager Role

In this managerial role, you will report to the Senior Director of Commercial Credit Risk r responsibilities include reviewing and adjudicating credit applications while actively managing a portfolio. Building strong relationships and providing guidance to team members will be essential as you analyze emerging economic trends affecting the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review credit applications within your lending authority

• Proactively manage a diversified portfolio of commercial loans

• Develop relationships with external intermediaries and partners

• Mentor internal staff on credit risk analysis

• Regularly consult with Commercial Banking officers

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in Commercial Banking or credit risk

• Experience with financial statement analysis

• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel

• Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field

• Relevant designations like MBA, CPA or CFA are a plus
