Emerging Markets Investment Analyst Position

Burgundy Asset Management is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst for its Emerging Markets and China Equities team. This role requires strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to rigorous research.

In this position, the successful candidate will conduct in-depth analyses of companies within emerging markets, focusing on financial health and corporate governance. You will partner closely with the Portfolio Manager to formulate investment strategies and contribute insights during internal discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research on business models and competitive positioning

• Develop precise financial models and valuation frameworks

• Communicate findings through written reports and presentations

• Assist in managing existing portfolio holdings and risk assessment

• Collaborate with company management and industry stakeholders

Requirements:

• Prior experience in equity research, preferred in Chinese markets

• Proven ability to develop distinct investment ideas

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication abilities in English;
Mandarin preferred

• Relevant degree and CFA progress is advantageous
