Portfolio Management Leader

Position: Portfolio Management Leader at MCAP
Take charge of loan oversight within MCAP's commercial mortgage division. This role focuses on CMHC program administration and enhancing portfolio performance through strategic management.

The Portfolio Management Leader is responsible for administering loans under CMHC multi-residential programs, contributing to risk management, quality assurance, and compliance. The incumbent will oversee renewals, modifications, and defaults while ensuring adherence to guidelines. Exhibit leadership in managing the performance of significant mortgage portfolios and guiding a team of analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate reports for CMHC loan renewals

• Approve modifications and oversee relevant actions

• Monitor performance of loans on the watchlist

• Manage non-performing loans effectively

• Direct reporting and communication with investors

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in commercial mortgages

• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills

• Thorough understanding of CMHC guidelines

• Experience in default recovery processes

• Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
