Job Description:

Role: SAP Fioneer FPSL Functional Consultant
Toronto, Ontario "Hybrid (4 Days WFO)"
12 months Introduction

The role involves being a hands-on functional consultant responsible for the configuration and implementation of SAP Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) for banking products. The consultant will support the detailed design, build, testing, and deployment of integration with source systems, ensuring accurate subledger postings and seamless integration with SAP S4

HANA Finance, in line with IFRS 9 and local GAAP requirements.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

4-8 years of experience in banking finance or accounting system implementations.
Practical experience with SAP Fioneer FPSL (Banking context).
Experience with SAP S4

HANA Finance integration.
Strong understanding of banking products accounting and event-based transaction accounting concepts.
Good working knowledge of IFRS 9 fundamentals from an implementation perspective.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience with contract types and attributes configuration.
Knowledge of effective interest rate (EIR) based accruals.
Experience in supporting inbound integration from core banking systems and treasury trading platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Configure FPSL objects for banking products such as loans, deposits, money market instruments, and securities.
Implement FPSL components including contract types, event types, posting schemas, and accounting determinations.
Support integration from source systems and ensure accurate subledger postings.
Execute and support unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Prepare functional deliverables including configuration documents, test scripts, and reconciliation documents.
