Actuarial Analyst - Reserving Focus

This role offers important hands-on experience in evaluating reserves and presenting financial insights.

In this role, you'll support the Reserving team by evaluating Definity’s loss reserves through comprehensive claims analysis. You'll work under the guidance of senior staff, aiding month-end and quarterly assessment processes while collaborating with various stakeholders. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to deepen your understanding of actuarial methods and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the evaluating of loss reserves for portfolios

• Engage in financial reporting and process enhancements

• Analyze and prepare data for reserve adequacy

• Assist in the development of actuarial analytical models

• Liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners

Requirements:

• Completion of at least 2 CAS/SOA exams

• Prior knowledge of P&C insurance preferred

• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

• Familiarity with SQL and Python advantageous

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
