Great-West Lifeco is hiring a Senior Risk Management Manager for its reinsurance operations in Toronto. This role is critical for developing risk reports and enhancing decision-making processes.

As part of the Reinsurance Division, you will provide comprehensive risk analyses for key metrics and support the executive management committee.

Your role will contribute to vital strategies, ensuring compliance with risk policies and identifying both current and emerging risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Challenge and assess new reinsurance agreements

• Create detailed quarterly CRO risk reporting materials

• Analyze key risk metrics on a quarterly basis

• Participate in strategic deep dive reviews

• Monitor compliance with the Risk Appetite Framework

Requirements:

• Fellowship from Society of Actuaries or equivalent

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to convey complex information clearly

• Capacity to adapt in a dynamic work environment

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
