The Senior Consultant provides analytical and strategic support to expert testifiers, counsel, and clients in litigation and other disputes. Duties span financial statement and valuation analysis, industry and economic research, and critical assistance on valuation‑related projects in a fast‑moving dispute environment. The position is located in Toronto and requires travel to FTI offices and clients.

• Perform day‑to‑day activities in support of valuation consulting projects, interacting with client personnel, team members, and external professionals.
• Conduct technical, industry, and company research using economic, financial, statistical, and data science tools.
• Execute economic, financial, statistical, and other relevant valuation analyses to answer complex questions.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules summarizing findings for clients and other stakeholders.
• Apply accounting, financial, valuation, economic, and statistical skills to client situations in various practice areas.
• Maintain detailed working paper records that document assumptions, methodologies, and sources.
• Deliver high‑quality products within established time frames and budgets.
• Prepare written analyses and quantitative exhibits for presentations to third parties.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of relevant full‑time work experience in finance, accounting, valuation, or business analysis.
• Experience valuing businesses, intangible assets, and other discrete assets and liabilities.
• Experience quantifying economic losses in dispute contexts.
• Strong valuation‑based analytical modeling, technical accounting, cash‑flow modeling, and finance skills.
• Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full‑time basis; FTI Consulting does not sponsor work visas.

• CPA, CVA, CFA, or another relevant professional designation.
• Accredited or pursuing a business‑valuation credential (CBV, ABV, ASA).
• At least 3+ years of litigation and dispute experience.
• Advanced analytical and issue‑resolution skills, with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Experience preparing analyses and drafting expert reports.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with team members and client personnel under demanding deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
• Aptitude for managing multiple workflows while balancing time and budget constraints.
• Prior experience managing teams and developing others.
• Proficient with PC environments and related software, especially advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in computer‑model development and dynamic spreadsheet applications.

Minimum Pay: $98,500 – Maximum Pay: $121,000. The compensation range reflects potential base salary; actual pay is determined by market, business needs, individual skills and experience.
