Position: Bilingual (FR/EN) Loan Restructure Specialist
The Role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and empathetic Loan Restructure Specialist to support homeowners experiencing financial difficulty and help them remain in their homes. In this role, you will assess complex mortgage delinquency situations, evaluate restructuring/collections solutions, and make recommendations that balance the needs of homeowners, lenders, and insurers.
Key responsibilities include:
Assess complex delinquent mortgage situations and determine sustainable restructuring optionsEngage with homeowners to understand financial circumstances, gather information, and provide clear guidance through available solutionsAnalyze financial, property, and credit information to develop recommendations aligned with lender, investor, and insurer requirementsPresent and coordinate restructuring recommendations with internal and external stakeholders to secure approvals and progress resolutionsImplement approved solutions, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor outcomes to support portfolio performance and continuous improvementWhat You Bring To The Team
Required
Bilingual in French and English (written and verbal)Proficiency with Outlook, MS Word, and ExcelStrong critical thinkings skills, with the ability to balance homeowner experience and risk managementA talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners and team membersAbility to manage an assigned portfolio, prioritize workload effectively, and consistently meet service level expectationsPreferred
Strong Collections experience in residential mortgage servicingExperience in financial analysis or credit
