Position: Vaughan Senior Financial Analyst Role
Join a leading environmental company in Vaughan as a Senior Financial Analyst. This full-time role focuses on complex accounting tasks and financial reconciliation within the office environment.

Our client, known for waste management services, is looking for a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst for a 3+ month contract. You'll be pivotal in managing lease agreements, preparing consolidations, and supporting month-end processes. Your collaboration across business units will help drive accurate accounting documentation and reporting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute corporate general ledger accounting and month-end entries

• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting and amortization tasks

• Reconcile intercompany transactions accurately

• Prepare financial consolidation with necessary adjustments

• Implement standardized accrual processes for month-end

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Minimum 4-6 years of general ledger experience

• CPA designation or pursuing it preferred

• Expertise in IFRS and managing reconciliations

• Proficient in Workday and advanced Excel functionalities
