OMERS Financial Reporting Senior Analyst

In this role, you will have 3-5 years of applicable experience in corporate financial reporting and consolidation accounting. You will handle journal entry preparations, lead the monthly and quarterly closes, and validate compliance with IFRS standards. You will also be responsible for creating technical accounting papers and enhancing financial process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the compilation of consolidated financial statements

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close accounting processes

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts accurately

• Support external auditors and their fieldwork effectively

• Identify and implement process efficiencies in reporting

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of corporate financial reporting experience

• Degree in business, accounting, or finance with CPA

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and pension-related accounting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Familiarity with Oracle and Workiva systems
