Position: Senior Accountant for Global Insurance
Join a leading global insurance company as a Senior Accountant based in downtown Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on client profitability analysis and financial closes.

In this key position, you'll lead the preparation of management results and client profitability analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial closes for North American legal entities. You'll also enhance financial systems, support automation, and implement new reporting tools while driving process improvements across financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial processes for premiums, commissions, and cash flows

• Monitor client data and resolve reporting issues

• Prepare complex profit commission reporting

• Maintain accounting controls for effective governance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across financial topics

Requirements:

• 6–8 years in insurance accounting/reporting

• CPA required;
Finance/Business degree preferred

• Knowledge of IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 is a plus

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel

• Experience with Oracle Fusion and Power BI preferred
