Join Scotiabank as a Capital Markets Intern this Summer 2027 and deepen your knowledge in sales and trading. Engage actively with experienced professionals while supporting trading operations and client interactions.
This internship offers a four-month experience within Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets department, providing exposure to multiple trading areas including Commercial FX and Collateral Management. Interns are guided through mentorship opportunities aimed at fostering professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of trade floor functions
• Contribute to client presentations and market commentary
• Participate in research initiatives as required
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
• Experience with Excel VBA and Python coding
• Proven interest in financial markets and trading
• Active participation in Trading or Investment Clubs
• Strong achievements both academically and in extracurriculars
